Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a large range of optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being developed and engineered all the time and would debut in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
