Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You can normally find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also known as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized to move materials and things around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight contains a pump which could raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single individual.
To prevent loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated carefully. Equipment must be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle can turn smoothly. The pallet should be carefully stacked to be able to ensure that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level found on the inside of the metal loop to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be centered to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has completely cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet too high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is really dangerous to push the pallet in front of you since the thrust could cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
