Narrow aisle forklifts function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale spotlights the single reach NR and the double reach NDR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has various control handle and stance configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider range of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations like the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides powerful acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been manufactured for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly enhance the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great feature that maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: To greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to lessen operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also referred to as narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These machinery are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are generally rail or wire guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
